Collection Analysis Initiative

What is the Missouri Collection Analysis Initiative?

  • A way for Missouri librarians and classroom teachers to ensure their collections are meeting the needs of patrons and students
  • Great for making decisions about:
    • collection management,
    • programming,
    • displays and front-facing titles
    • book discussions and lit circles
  • FREE for teachers and staff at all types of libraries in Missouri due to a statewide access initiative
  • Includes ongoing professional development and personalized support

This program is a way for Missouri's libraries to make informed decisions about how they can tailor their collections and displays to best suit the needs of their unique communities.
- Robin Westphal, Former Missouri State Librarian
